As other reviews mentioned, the seat cushion is very thin but overall this custom ottoman is extremely comfortable. It isn’t exactly finely crafted furniture and it isn’t something that will be passed down through the generations, but it is affordable and serves its purpose nicely. I’ve been trying to email them ever since (today is January eighth) but the emails keep coming back rejected. I moved ahead with attaching the arms to the back and screwing those in to the base, but that needed significant tweaking as the armrests were badly assembled and didnt line up with the holes. The material isn’t corduroy in any way, shape, or form. The seat pad is not that great, but for the cost it is the best thing out there! The gliding is good, no squeaks, grinding or anything else. You get what you pay for, right? The fabric is extremely soft. I put the chair together in minutes and was fairly happy.
