I was about to have a birthday. I was so excited. My husband did not like to shop so he told me to go and get a gift for myself. I liked the way he shopped and let me pick out what I wanted. I really wanted some new diamond earrings for my birthday and I could not wait to go out and find the perfect ones that I wanted. I went and shopped for the earrings and had fun looking around. I wanted to find some diamond stud earrings. I found some really nice ones, but I wanted to continue to look around and make sure I got the best earrings for my money. I continued to shop and did not find the perfect earrings. I went online to see what I could find. I really was not sure if I wanted to purchase diamonds online, but I thought I would look anyway.

In my father’s time only the women were expected to wear engagement rings. The men would just wait until the wedding day to be able to wear a ring. It wasn’t really an issue in my parents’ time. The bands and settings are smooth and not too obvious in their make, frame, and designs. Not all men, even in this present time, would go for this trend. But that is entirely up to the man, entirely up to the couple getting engaged.
